Walshmo Racing - Pierburg Water Pump Bracket
We created this 3D printed bracket for the Pierburg water pump(s) while installing a CWA100-3 on a customer's supercharged Honda EK Civic. It seemed that most people at the time opted to using a hose clamp and we felt that we wanted to go above and beyond the norm.
The bracket is split into two pieces and comes with:
- 2x embedded M5x0.8 nut-serts and 2x M5x0.8 bolts to connect the pieces of the bracket together
- 2x M6 bolts and 2x M6 nuts that are used to connect the bracket to the target wall/mount/etc.
This bracket is 3D printed from a carbon fiber infused plastic that is optimized for strength, vibration resistance, and thermal resistance. In addition to the robust material we have ensured that all of the walls of the bracket maintain at least 1/2" - 3/4" thickness. This bracket will outlast the water pump that it is supporting.
